Privacy Policy

SamUltra is a music production platform: beats, licences, academy lessons, live sessions and creative opportunities. This policy explains what we collect when you listen, buy or create here, why we collect it, and the control you keep over it. We collect the minimum needed to run the studio and never sell your data.

• Account information — email address, display name, optional avatar, bio, genres, skills and social links.
• Activity — plays, upvotes, playlists, comments, applications, event registrations and course progress.
• Commerce — orders, licence tiers purchased, download history. Card data is handled entirely by our payment processor; we never see or store card numbers.
• Uploads — any audio, artwork or documents you submit through the platform.
• Technical — browser type, device, approximate location from IP, and error diagnostics used to keep the site stable.

• Run the core service: sign-in, cart, checkout, downloads, licence delivery, lesson progress.
• Deliver purchases and issue receipts and licence documents.
• Answer inquiries, applications and support requests.
• Protect the platform against fraud, abuse and unauthorised access.
• Send transactional email (always) and marketing email (only with your consent, unsubscribe any time).
• Improve the product with aggregate analytics, set only after you accept analytics cookies.

• Contract — processing needed to give you an account, deliver purchases and honour licences.
• Consent — marketing email and analytics cookies.
• Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention and service improvement.
• Legal obligation — tax and accounting records for completed orders.

We share data only with processors who help us operate:

• Payment processing and invoicing.
• Cloud hosting, database and file storage.
• Transactional and newsletter email delivery.
• Error monitoring and privacy-respecting analytics.

We never sell personal data, and we never share it for third-party advertising.

• Account and profile data — while your account is active, then deleted within 30 days of closure.
• Order and licence records — retained as long as the licence is valid and as required for tax records.
• Error logs — 90 days.
• Newsletter subscription — until you unsubscribe.

• Access a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correct anything inaccurate directly from your account settings.
• Delete your account and associated personal data.
• Export your data in a portable format on request.
• Withdraw consent for marketing email or analytics cookies at any time.
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests.

Data is stored on encrypted infrastructure with row-level security so records are reachable only by their owner or an authorised administrator. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. Deliverable files (paid audio, resource downloads, lesson media) are served only through gated, server-verified access.

Our hosting and email providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens, transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

SamUltra is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13. If we learn that we hold data from a child under 13, we delete it.
